A second set of Twice as Fancy Ponies was released in Year 6 (1987-1988), with all new ponies. As in the original set, each Twice as Fancy pony has a symbol that covers both sides of her body, and a small symbol on her nose or cheek. In this set, all of the ponies -- even the unicorn -- have non-glittery symbols and hair of a single, solid color. This was the last true Twice as Fancy set, although some later sets had symbols printed all over their bodies (like the Sunshine Ponies or on their faces (like the Magic Message Ponies). Each pony in this set came with a brush, comb, or hair pick, and a ribbon.

Night Glider is a dark blue adult earth pony with white hair and lavender eyes. Her symbol consists of numerous stars, moons, and planets. On her cheek is a small yellow moon and two white stars. Night Glider is in the Posey Pose. She came with a yellow moon comb and a ribbon.
Buttons is a pale green adult unicorn pony with blue hair and blue eyes. Her symbol consists of pink bows and white buttons accented with pink and green. She has a small pink bow on her nose. Buttons is in the Buttons Pose. She came with a blue butterfly brush and a pink ribbon.
Merriweather is a purple adult earth pony with yellow hair and yellow eyes. Her symbol consists of rainbows and clouds. On her right cheek is a small rainbow and cloud. Merriweather is in the Tootsie Pose. She came with a dark purple moon comb and a ribbon.
Yum Yum is a white adult pegasus pony with light pink hair and lavender eyes. Her symbol consists of wrapped candies of various shapes and sizes, in dark pink, light pink, and lavender. On her left cheek is one dark pink candy. Yum Yum is in the Surprise Pose. She came with a dark pink sun pick and a ribbon.
Bonnie Bonnets is a purplish-pink adult earth pony with white hair and pale aqua-blue eyes. Her symbol consists of a number of white and yellow flowered bonnets tied with blue ribbons, and scattered white and yellow flowers. On her nose, she has a yellow flower. Bonnie Bonnets is in the Bow-Tie Pose. She came with a blue butterfly brush and a ribbon.
