A second set of Twice as Fancy Ponies was released in Year 6, with all new ponies. They were printed between 1987 and 1988. As in the original set, each Twice as Fancy pony has a symbol that covers both sides of her body, and a small symbol on her nose or cheek. In this set, all of the ponies including the unicorn have non-glittery symbols and hair of a single, solid color. This was the last true Twice as Fancy set, although some later sets (such as the Sunshine Ponies and the Magic Message Ponies) had symbols printed all over their bodies or on their faces. Each pony came with a brush, comb, or hair pick, and a ribbon.
Merriweather

Merriweather is a purple adult earth pony with yellow hair and yellow eyes. Her symbol consists of rainbows striped pink, yellow, and purple, some stretched between two clouds, others with a cloud at only one end (view). On her right cheek is a small rainbow with one cloud (view). Merriweather is in the Tootsie Pose.

Buttons is a pale green adult unicorn pony with blue hair and blue eyes. Her symbol consists of pink bows and white buttons accented with pink and green (view). She has a small pink bow on her nose (view). Buttons is in the Buttons Pose.

Bonnie Bonnets is a purplish-pink adult earth pony with white hair and blue eyes. Her symbol consists of a number of bonnets some white and some yellow, all tied with blue ribbons and decorated with flowers; scattered white and yellow flowers with blue centers, stems, and leaves; and a few blue dots (view). On her nose, she has a yellow flower (view). Bonnie Bonnets is in the Bow-Tie Pose.

Munchy is a yellow adult earth pony with peach hair and green eyes. Her symbol consists of hot dogs, cheeseburgers, crimpy fries, and pickle slices (view). On her left cheek is a small hot dog (view). Munchy is in the Crumpet Pose.

Night Glider is a dark blue adult earth pony with white hair and lavender eyes. Her symbol consists of numerous stars, moons, and planets -- there is one large, purple planet on her rump with a white ring and a moon circling it; one medium-sized purple planet near her shoulder with crossed white rings; various smaller yellow and purple planets without rings; yellow crescent moons of different sizes; white stars; and small purple dots (view). On her cheek is a small yellow moon and two white stars (view). Night Glider is in the Posey Pose.

Yum Yum is a white adult pegasus pony with light pink hair and lavender eyes. Her symbol is an arrangement of small lavender dots and wrapped candies of various shapes and sizes with dark pink, light pink, and lavender stripes or polka-dots (view).
