Candy Cane Ponies
The Candy Cane Ponies, printed in Year 7 (between 1988 and 1989), were the third set of scented My Little Ponies. Like the previous year's Sundae Best and Sweetberry ponies, the Candy Cane Ponies were scented according to the themes of their symbols, all of which depicted sweets or candies. Two more sets of scented ponies would later be released: Perfume Puff Ponies and Soda Sippin' Ponies. All of the Candy Cane ponies had long hair curled into ringlets, striped with white and a second color, like a candy cane. Each pony came with a lollipop or ice cream hair clip, a candy comb, and a ribbon.

Lemon Treats is a yellow adult earth pony with pink eyes. Her hair is striped green and white. Her symbol is a pink and white cake slice with a pink heart on top. She is in the Sugarberry Pose. Lemon Treats smells faintly like cheesecake.

Sugar Apple

Sugar Apple is a pale blue adult pegasus pony with pink eyes. Her hair is striped dark pink and white. Her symbol is two pink and yellow caramel apples on white sticks, with pink sprinkles on top. She is in the Surprise Pose. Sugar Apple smells faintly of caramel.
Sugar Apple came with a dark pink ice cream clip, a yellow candy comb, and a ribbon.

Molasses is a dark pink adult earth pony with blue eyes. Her hair is striped blue and white. Her symbol is a white and blue gingerbread man. She is in the Tootsie Pose. Molasses smells faintly of gingerbread.

Caramel Crunch is a dark purple adult earth pony with blue eyes. Her hair is striped dark pink and white. Her symbol is a blue popcorn box full of yellow popcorn; there is also some popcorn around the box. She is in the Posey Pose. Caramel Crunch is lightly scented.
Caramel Crunch came with a purple lollipop clip, a blue candy comb, and a ribbon.

Sugar Sweet

Sugar Sweet is a pale pink adult unicorn pony with blue eyes. Her hair is striped aqua and white. Her symbol is aqua cotton candy on a yellow stick. She was the last pony ever printed in the Moondancer Pose. Sugar Sweet smells faintly like cotton candy.
