Mommy and Baby Pony were the only mother-and-baby pair ever sold as a set. Like the three-pony Family sets of Year 7, the mother and baby in this set have similar symbols, both featuring hearts and cats. However, Baby Pony most closely resembles the Year 7 Fancy Pants Baby Ponies, whose symbols are patterned diapers.
Mommy and Baby Pony were available exclusively through a mail-order offer. They came with a playpen, a bottle, and a duck comb.

Mommy Pony is a pinkish purple adult earth pony with blue eyes. Her hair is light pink. Her symbol is two white and pink cats, a mommy and a baby, the mommy in a blue shirt and the baby in a blue diaper, with pink hearts floating above the baby. Mommy Pony is in the Bow-Tie Pose.
Mommy Pony came with Baby Pony (see below), a yellow playpen, a white bottle, and a duck comb.
