The second set of Sea Ponies was printed in Year 3, between 1984 and 1985. All of the new ponies were in the same original Sea Pony Pose, but a new head, the Sand Dollar Head was introduced. The Year 3 set also featured a new conch-shell-shaped stand with a suction cup on the back. It was the last set of adult Sea Ponies released in the US. Each Sea Pony came with a brochure, a shell stand, a shell brush, a shell comb, a ribbon, and a scented sticker.
