The Rockin' Beat Ponies were released in Year 9, between 1990 and 1991. They have brightly colored bodies and dark or bright-colored hair with a strip of a second color in the mane. Their symbols are jumbles of shapes and patterns printed all over their bodies, like Twice as Fancy Ponies'. The Rockin' Beat Ponies were the last set of US ponies to wear eyeshadow. Each pony came with a guitar-shaped brush that could be strapped around her neck with a gold cord.
