The Happy Tails Ponies were printed in Year 6, between 1987 and 1988. These ponies are made of a very soft plastic, and each pony has a mechanism inside her body which causes her tail to swish back and forth when you squeeze her sides. Each Happy Tails pony's symbol is printed in a single solid color, and features a pair of animals of the same species. All of the Happy Tails ponies have colored rings around their tails. Each pony came with a different comb, pick, or brush, as well as three other accessories: a ribbon, a squirrel clip, and a bird pick with a long, brushable tail.

Woosie was also released in the UK with a lavender body and dark pink symbols. Woosie came with a yellow flower pick, a ribbon, a mint green squirrel clip, and a lavender bird pick with a light pink tail.
