Earth Ponies
Earth Ponies were originally simply called My Little Ponies. Now they are commonly known as Earth Ponies among collectors because of the later additions of Pegasus and Unicorn ponies. They were printed in Year 2, between 1983 and 1984. The Earth Ponies set featured two of the original Year 1 ponies, Blossom and Cotton Candy, only this time with concave instead of flat feet. It also featured ponies in two new poses: the Bow-Tie Pose, and the Bubbles Pose, the latter of which was never used again in the US. A second set of Earth Ponies was released in Year 3. Each of the Earth Ponies came with a brochure, a flower brush, a ribbon, and a scented sticker.
