Twinkle-Eyed Ponies
Twinkle-Eyed Ponies take their name from their eyes, which contain colored, often iridescent plastic jewels cut to reflect light. They were printed in Year 4, between 1985 and 1986. Later in the same year, the packaging for the Twinkle-Eyed Ponies was changed, and three more ponies were added to the set: Sweet Pop, Speedy, and Sky Rocket. They are included below. A second set of Twinkle-Eye Ponies was released in Year 5. Each Twinkle-Eyed pony has four colors in her hair, and unlike those in any previous sets, the unicorn and pegasus ponies in the Twinkle-Eyed set have non-glittery symbols. Each pony came with a brush or comb, a ribbon, and a scented sticker.

Galaxy is a pink adult unicorn pony with red, dark pink, white, and orange-red hair. She has iridescent pink eyes. Her symbol is seven dark pink stars forming the Big Dipper constellation. She is in the Buttons Pose.
Galaxy came with a light blue shooting star comb, a ribbon, and a scented sticker.

Whizzer

Whizzer is a pink adult pegasus pony with dark purple, blue, dark green, and aqua hair. She has iridescent blue eyes. Her symbol is five pink propeller beanies with dark purple fans and stripes. She is in the Paradise Pose.
Whizzer came with a purple shooting star comb, a ribbon, and a scented sticker.

Sweet Pop

Sweet Pop is a blue adult pegasus pony with dark pink, yellow, lavender, and white hair. She has iridescent pink eyes. Her symbol is three pink popsicles with yellow sticks. She is in the Lofty Pose. Sweet Pop was one of three ponies not released with the Twinkle-Eyed ponies until later in the year.
Sweet Pop came with a shooting star comb, a ribbon, and a scented sticker.

Speedy

Speedy is an orange adult unicorn pony with blue, white, light yellow, and lavender hair. She has iridescent pink eyes. Her symbol is two white roller skates with light blue wheels and laces. She is in the Buttons Pose. Speedy was one of three ponies not released with the Twinkle-Eyed ponies until later in the year. Speedy was later re-released in the second set of Twinkle-Eyed ponies in Year 5.

Sweet Stuff

Sweet Stuff is a light blue adult earth pony with lavender, dark pink, light pink, and white hair. She has iridescent purple eyes. Her symbol is three purple and three pink gumdrop candies. She is in the Gingerbread Pose. Sweet Stuff was one of three ponies not released with the Twinkle-Eyed ponies until later in the year.
