Precious Pocket Ponies
The Precious Pocket Ponies were introduced in Year 9, between 1990 and 1991. They were larger than previous ponies, and were the only ponies to have symbols on only one side of their bodies. Each Precious Pocket Pony has a large, hollow, plastic symbol which is open at the top and can serve as a pocket. Connected to the inside of this pocket is one end of a gold string; at the other end of the string is a small plastic object that can be placed inside of the pocket. The Precious Pocket ponies were printed in two new poses, one of which, the Bunny Hop Pose, was never used again. The pattern of their hair coloration is unlike that of any other ponies: each Precious Pocket Pony has a mane with two equal-sized strips of different colors, and a single-colored tail. Each pony came with a flower brush.

Sweet Pocket

Sweet Pocket is a purple adult earth pony with green eyes. Her mane is light pink in front and dark blue in back; her tail is light pink. Her symbol is a large, plastic pink flower attached to her left hip; a green stem is painted below the flower, and white and green stamens within it. A small plastic yellow bee is attached to the inside of the flower by a string. Sweet Pocket is in the Bubblefish Pose.
Sweet Pocket came with a yellow flower brush.

Lil' Pocket

Lil' Pocket is a light blue adult earth pony with pink eyes. Her mane is peach in front and aqua in back; her tail is aqua. Her symbol is a large, plastic pink pig attached to her right hip; the pig has a heart on its rump, and a lavender and yellow butterfly, some lavender and yellow flowers and grass, and three lavender hearts are painted around the pig. A small plastic lavender 1¢ coin is attached to the inside of the pig by a string. Lil' Pocket's pose, the Bunny Hop Pose, was never used outside of the Precious Pocket set.
Lil' Pocket came with a pink flower brush.

Bubblefish

Bubblefish is a pink adult earth pony with blue eyes. Her mane is dark pink in front and blue in back; her tail is blue. Her symbol is a large, plastic, transparent fish bowl attached to her left hip; there is a pink table painted under the bowl, and blue water and bubbles are painted inside it. A small plastic yellow fish is attached to the inside of the fish bowl by a string. Bubblefish is in the Bubblefish Pose.
Bubblefish came with a blue flower brush.

Bunny Hop

Bunny Hop is a white adult earth pony with aqua eyes. Her mane is light pink in front and dark purple in back; her tail is dark purple. Her symbol is a large, plastic purple top hat attached to her right hip; a blue and yellow magic wand and flying sparks are pained above the hat. A small plastic dark pink rabbit is attached to the inside of the hat by a string. The Bunny Hop Pose was never used outside of the Precious Pocket set.
Bunny Hop came with a light blue flower brush.
