The Surprise Newborn Ponies are a unique set of newborns whose symbols were concealed by a colored "diaper" which could be dissolved in warm water, revealing a baby animal symbol underneath. Each Surprise Newborn was available with two different symbols, which could only be revealed by washing the factory-printed diaper away. One pony in this group, Baby Bouncy, is especially unique because she was printed in a modified, wingless version of the Yoyo Pose; she was the only pony ever printed in this modified pose.
Baby Cuddles

Baby Cuddles is a newborn baby earth pony with lavender eyes. Her hair is dark pink. She is in the Tappy Pose. As sold, Baby Cuddles' symbol is a diaper which dissolves permanently in warm water, revealing one of two possible symbols: a white and blue cat or a white and aqua elephant. (Both are pictured at left.)

Baby Bouncy

Baby Bouncy is a yellow newborn baby earth pony with purple eyes. Her hair is yellow. She is in a version of the Yoyo Pose without wings. As sold, Baby Bouncy's symbol is hidden by a diaper which dissolves permanently in warm water, revealing one of two possible symbols: a white and pink giraffe or a white teddy bear.

Baby Snoozy
