The Rollerskate Ponies are bright-colored ponies with rollerskates molded onto their feet. Each pony wears four skates, but most of the wheels are false and do not turn; only the front two wheels on the front right hoof and on the rear left hoof actually turn. These are wind-up wheels, which can be wound up by placing the pony on a hard surface and dragging her backwards; when released, she will skate.
All three Rollerskate Ponies are earth ponies in the Posey Pose, modified to add the skates. They all have solid colored tails and two colors in their manes. Each one came with a pair of sunglasses, a walkman, and a pair of earphones.
Hip-Hop

Hip-Hop is a green adult earth pony with blue eyes. Her hair is dark pink, and she has a strip of orange in her mane. Her symbol is a red rollerblade with purple laces and wheelguards, pink wheels, and yellow wings. Her pose is a version of the Posey Pose with skates molded on. Her skates are purple with pink laces, yellow trim, and yellow wheels.
Hip-Hop came with sunglasses, a walkman, and earphones.
Jazzie

Jazzie is a yellow adult earth pony with blue eyes. Her hair is red, and she has a strip of green in her mane. Her symbol is a pink heart with blue wings. Her pose is a version of the Posey Pose with skates molded on. Her skates are purple with green laces, blue trim, and green wheels.

Melody

Melody is a dark pink adult earth pony with blue eyes. Her hair is blue, and she has a strip of yellow in her mane. Her symbol is a yellow microphone surrounded by blue stars and musical notes. Her pose is a version of the Posey Pose with skates molded on. Her skates are green with yellow laces, orange trim, and pink wheels. Melody was originally released as one of the My Little Pony Tales Ponies; MLP Tales Melody is similar to Rollerskate Pony Melody, but has solid blue hair and does not wear skates.
Melody came with sunglasses, a walkman, and earphones.
