The Megan and Twice as Fancy Sundance set, printed in Year 7 between 1988 and 1989, was the third and final Megan and Sundance set. It followed the much earlier Megan and Sundance set of Year 3 and Megan and So Soft Sundance and Molly and Baby Sundance sets of Year 4. Twice as Fancy Sundance is in a different pose from the previous two Sundance ponies, and has a different hair color, with a color-changing strip just like the Sunshine Ponies have. The Megan doll who came with her is also different from the previous Megan dolls.
The Megan and Twice as Fancy Sundance set came with a dark pink basic comb, two ribbons, and a dress, shoes, and underwear for Megan.

Sundance is a white Twice as Fancy adult earth pony with light blue eyes. Her hair is light pink with a strip of color-changing white which turns magenta in sunlight. Her symbol is a number of pink tracery patterns, each including four symmetrical heart shapes (view). Sundance is the only true Twice as Fancy pony who does not have a symbol printed on her nose or cheek.
Twice as Fancy Sundance's pose, the Crumpet Pose, is the reverse of the Bow-Tie Pose, in which the previous two Sundance ponies were printed.
Twice as Fancy Sundance came with a dark pink basic comb and a ribbon.
Megan is a young girl with blond, curly hair and blue eyes. She has color-changing strips in her hair which turn magenta in the sun.
Megan was first released in Year 3 with the original Sundance, and was released again in Year 4 with So Soft Sundance. Twice as Fancy Sundance's Megan is is taller than the previous two Megans, and has a rounder face.
Megan came with a white dress patterned with Sundance's symbol; the dress has dark pink lace trim and a ribbon around the waist. She also came with two dark pink shoes, a pair of white panties, and a ribbon.
